Managed the daily operations of an over the road trucking company. Had direct supervisory responsibility, including hiring, disciplining and terminating, of 3 dispatchers, 100 OTR drivers, and 4 local drivers. Planed and coordinated scheduling of trucks for terminals located in Puyallup, WA. and Wichita, KS. Brokered loads negotiated rates and ensured compensation for services rendered. Had full responsibility for P&L and performance of the company. Communicated with customers to ensure satisfaction, located new clients, recruited drivers, solved problems as they arose and monitored positions and communications with trucks via satellite
