Daily Duties at Matheson Postal Service:
. Responsible for terminals in 5 states that operate both local and cross country mail transporting services. Ensured each terminal provided on time service in accordance with strict time schedules for delivery and pickup. Monitored each terminal to ensure managers were within operating budgets, fully staffed and are incompliance with all company policies, safety rules and government regulations. Strategically planned, allocated and administered $51M annual budget to optimize use of resources, control costs and maximize P&L performance. Oversaw all Human Resources activity under a corporate umbrella of policies and programs – recruiting, training, discipline, temporary services, etc. Available as a 24/7 customer service contact for the USPS for any issues regarding Matheson’s contracts or availability to provide extra service.
