Daily Duties at Mobil Oil Ghana Ltd:

TO ASSIST THE PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT IN ACCOUNTING DUTIES. INSTITUTION : Mobil Oil Ghana Limited RANK (ATTACHMENT) : Assistant Payroll Accountant From Nov. 1993- March 1994. DUTIES : responsible to prepare the packages of staff wages and salaries processed through the institutions internal auditors, cashiers, accounts, and financial manager to the external bankers, and ensures the efficient release payment of wages and salaries, and deductions of government income taxes for internal revenue service, etc. RESPONSIBLE TO DEDUCT: a) Income tax from staff consolidated salary b) Social security c) Social welfare funds d) (TUC) Trade Union Congress contributions, etc. RESPONSIBLE FOR approval of receipts and payments of cheques offered in business transactions. And also approves if necessary, issuance of shortage of cash and materials in relation to meet the needs of departmental or culture centres. MUST HAVE Intimate relation to duties to report results, and quest for advice from the Accounting Manager in regards of confirmation of Accounting transactions, and make final reports of business turnover to the knowledge managers/leaders etc.
