*Supervised and reviewed work performed by 1 staff pharmacist and 3 technicians. *Implemented a comprehensive and professional travel vaccine clinic in addition to administration of standard immunizations. *Led daily operations, coordinated staffing needs and acted as a timekeeper for the unit. *Selected, trained and oriented new employees. *Reviewed and interpreted physician orders to assure that drug, dosage form, and dose is appropriate for the patients’ age, weight, and comorbitities; recommended changes consistent to improve patient outcome. *Regularly consulted with physicians and nursing staff members concerning the use, availability, dosage form, side effects and possible incompatibilities drugs, taking the time to clearly explain information to concerned patients. *Maintained awareness and compliance with the Quality Management programs. *Documented all clinical interventions and workload statistics
