Wrote, designed and produced clear objectives for lessons, units, and communicated those objectives to students. Taught students with individual education plans (IEPs) in an inclusion setting and implement IEPs as necessary. Successfully presented subject matter, utilizing a variety of methods and techniques, such as lecture, discussion and supervised role playing. Provided students with disabilities with the skills and knowledge needed to participate in community based sports, recreation and leisure activities. Communicated effectively and maintained strong relationship with stuents, families and colleague. Met with other professionals to discuss individual student's needs and progress. Developed and used variety of assessment data to refine curicula and instructional practice. Planned and conducted activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration and work time that provides students with opportunity to observe, question and investigate. Assisted students, individually and in groups, with lesson assignments to present and reinfrce learning concept. Established and enforced rules for behavior and policies and procedures to maintain order among students. Taught socially acceptable behavior, employing techniques such as behavior modification and positive reinforcement.
