Daily Duties at Hsbc:

 Techinal Lead in converting a high risk File Transfer process to wholly HSBC supported system. Replaced a high risk system with a efficient system that accepted files from external vendors on a UNIX box and transferred those to the mainframe. Implemented a Stored Value Card program for Taxpayer Financial Systems – a first for HSBC. Technical lead in designing a real-time load monetary load system utilizing Mainframe to Web to FDR architecture.  Responsible for tracking and reporting to Senior Mgmt. the status of all active projects, which could easily reach up to 60 per year.  Provided high and detail level analysis and specifications to teams for application development projects using SDLC procedures.  Held JAD sessions with business partners at various off-site locations to develop the processes to implement new products requested by the business. These included the first Instant (real-time) loan approval process in the industry, Pre-season products, and enhancement to existing processes.  Programmer in support of Card Services applications
