1.Led a development team of 4 overseeing operational maintenance activities, design, development and successful implementation of maintenance and enhancement release for the weekly patent application and patent issue load systems. • Met regularly with system owners and users in order to understand the business processes and roles. • Coordinated and facilitated all requirements gathering, design, development and testing with the development team as well as testing by the independent testers and managed development activities. 2. Directed development of the Patent Image Retrieval and Application Image Retrieval Systems. Contributed to enterprise-level vision and strategy. Participated on a 4-member talented team of professionals developing this large, UNIX-based, distributed client/server application. Focused on building the front-end user interface for image loading. Utilized Microsoft Visual C++ and MFC using the Microsoft Visual Studio.NET 2003 Interactive Development Environment (IDE) as well as an Oracle database on a HP-UX server. 3. Maintained distributed load and convert, verify, and transfer applications for the weekly load and convert applications. Instrumentally contributed to managing process engineering and status reporting in compliance with CMM Level 2 requirements on this project. Also functioned as Rational Clear Case administrator, leading configuration management activities. Conceptualized and developed an array of sophisticated strategies that demonstrated extensive knowledge of text and image retrieval systems and display.
