• Managed nonclinical studies in toxicology, safety pharmacology, PK, and drug metabolism • Performed external audits of contract research organizations performing contracted work • Tracked invoices from contracted studies and participated in preparation of departmental budgets • Knowledge of drug development process • Assisted in development of compounds selected as IND candidates • Assisted with study design, wrote protocols, obtained proposals and contracts • Project Director/Principle Investigator for all studies conducted within the GLP Laboratory • Coordinated sample collection and analysis between contract laboratory and GLP Laboratory • Reviewed all folders and reports produced within the GLP Laboratory, including analytical and bio-analytical assay validations, dose verifications, and bio-analytical sample analyses • Assisted CMC with cataloging paperwork and uploading into Master Control • Essential member of Clinical Development team • Assisted Clinical Operations with preparation of Lab Manuals and Protocols • Collected and compiled data, reviewed reports from internal sources and external vendors, developed key insights and summarized study results • Authored/reviewed various support documents for submission of INDs to FDA, EMEA, and other regulatory agencies
