Store Manager/ 1st Asst. Store Manager Duties:  Responsible for the overall operations of the store.  Provides friendly, courteous, and helpful service.  Handles the supervision of employees.  Plans and prepares work schedules, and assigns employees to specific duties.  Coordinates sales promotion activities and directs workers preparing merchandise displays.  Supervises employees engaged in sales work.  In charge of inventory, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, and preparing daily record of transactions.  Analyzes detailed projections based on prior year’s sales in order to purchase appropriate amounts of product.  Ensures employees comply with established retail policies and procedures, security, sales, and record keeping procedures and practices.
