Managed human resources function for 200+ associate operations. Worked with management to create and revised HR policies and procedures; recruit hourly and salaried employees; developed orientation, training and incentive programs. Managed leave-of-absence programs and personnel records; administered HR budget; handled workplace issues and performed exit interviews. Maintained effective employee communications by open door policy, periodic communications meetings, newsletters, regular plant visits, and one-on-one conversations. Delivered annual training to department managers and supervisors on Human Resources topics such as FMLA/ADA/STD and hiring guidelines.
