• Transcribed prescriptions over the phone; counseled patients on prescription and over the counter medications; resolved issues with prescription insurances; assisted patients with clinical and disease state questions; maintained inventory of controlled substances. • Verified medications prior to being dispensed and sold to patient; ensured correct drug and dose; assured no significant drug interactions existed. • Supervised pharmacy staff and ensured proper workflow being implemented. • Performed MTMs, CMRs, TIPs, medication bin reconciliation and other duties.
