Daily Duties at Nts/Xxcal:
**NOTE** Previous company was XXCAL which was bought out by NTS*** Started as a tester testing various products that included Computer hardware and software applications. Testing was performed in DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows 98. I was a beta tester for Windows 98. I tested a variety of OEM products including Sony, HP, Fujitsu and Toshiba. This included installing the OS, drivers, and software to validate that it all worked. Some of the projects were: testing new modems and measuring connection speed validating a new video adapter would work on a system running DOS, Win 3x, and Windows 95. Testing burn speed for a new optical drive (CD's) Beta testing new learning software for education Application testing on new platforms from Dell, Toshiba, Fujitsu, HP and Sony. Promoted to project lead and lead up to 3 labs running up to 20 different projects at a time across multiple clients. This required managing the hours for each project, writing up test plans, strategies, reviewing and submitting defects and creating the final report with all the test results.
