Daily Duties at Genentech, Inc.:
Represented the sample management group within the SMT, and worked closely with various external and internal groups (Clinical Trial Management, Clinical Data Management, PK/PD scientists, BioAnalytical Assays, CROs, and etc.) for clinical studies to ensure proper sample needs and timelines. Monitored 30 clinical studies/projects at one time, serving as the single point of contact for sample related issues. Responsible for study database designs in Laboratory Information Management System ( Watson LIMS) used for tracking Clinical study samples and analytical results. Imported high volume (80,000 or >/year) of clinical samples into Watson LIMS adhering to GCP guidelines. QC’d Clinical study sample information such as sample visit information and patient information. Tracked and communicated sample discrepancies to Clinical Trial Managers and Clinical Research Associates. Also reconciled data discrepancies regarding patient information with Clinical Data Managers.
