duties includes pre-analytic, analytic and post analytic aspects of testing. overall responsibility for coordinating daily activities for his/her individual region including, Facilitate integration of QC, Quality, continual improvement, and other activities into a systematic approach to quality management Collaborate with the laboratory director, making recommendations for quality process, quality metrics and/or QM plan changes, as indicated Facilitate any pertinent sub-committees Assist labs with interpretation of quality indicator data Provide training in the area of QC .Provided guidance for implementing standardized protocols and policies Access and provide guidance for interpretation of local, state and federal regulations and accrediting agency requirements Review and approve policies and procedures addressing regulatory and accreditation issues Submit or assist in the submission of laboratory renewal packages to appropriate agencies Review and collate appropriate credentialing documents for laboratory directors Participate or provide guidance, as appropriate, in the inspection preparation process . Provide guidance for implementing processes to comply with new regulations and accrediting agency requirements and ensure laboratory staff are informed Participate in accrediting agency inspections, when applicable Develops and maintains the quality, health and welfare, and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with corporate, state, federal and local regulations and contract requirements. Conducted quality audits on a periodic basis at field locations to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements. Participates at the corporate level on the Safety Committee and at the site level to address site related quality, health & welfare and environmental concerns. Provides guidance to managers and supervisors to assist them in the interpretation of and compliance with quality, health & welfare and environmental related contract requirements. Review and edit draft reports and other documents for organization, clarity, use of correct terminology and scientific standards. Manage documents in an electronic document management databases. required to record OSHA incident records, ensure safety training relative to all positions and document and investigate any infractions of safety procedures to the facility management.
