Daily Duties at Dassault Systemes Simulia Corp:
Main contact for Europe and Asia Corporate Simplification. Oversee Internal Audit Controls performed by employees. Primary contact for internal and external auditors as well as all shared services functions Implementation of new monthly sales tax from a manual process to a third party company with minimal discrepancies. Calculate monthly sales tax for 30 states. Implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for new reporting requirements. Prepare GAAP to IFRS reconciliation for all Europe and Asia offices. Manage day-to-day accounting functions for North America, Europe, and Asia. Responsible for intercompany reconciliation and revaluation for accounts payable and accounts receivable. Responsible for making sure 18 foreign offices and 7 domestic offices are closed in a timely manner. Reconcile and analyze 20 balance sheet accounts. Review AR, DR, AP, bank reconciliations and revenue for 15 foreign offices. Review trial balances of 15 foreign offices to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to reporting on a monthly basis. Provide customer service support during high-volume times. Record allocation entry at month end. Calculate and record Asia office tax accruals. Responsible for setting up ACH reimbursements for weekly expense reimbursements. Audit and enter all employee expense reimbursements on a bi-monthly basis. Review and monitor the monthly credit invoices. Backup for ADP payroll and ADP Canada payroll. Completeness verification for over 100K journal entries. Responsible for balancing, auditing, and paying the American Express Airline Central Bill. Supervise and train two employees.
