Daily Duties at Fresh Express/Chiquita Brands, International 6/03/06 – 8/11/12:
Create statistical forecasts: gather, analyze and validate data. Review resulting statistical forecast model and apply error analysis techniques to improve forecasting Summarize/aggregate statistical forecasts. Dealt directly with Buyers, Brokers, Transportation, Shipping, and Customers to gather information to better manage forecast with excellent accuracy results, as well as download and enter orders from the customers. I was the Demand Planner and Customer Service Representative for the accounts that I was assigned. My largest volume customers were Publix, Kroger, Ingle’s, and BJ’s Wholesale. I was responsible for improving the forecast accuracy to an average 80% for these accounts and saved Chiquita millions of dollars over the last five years.
