Responsible for installing, configuring, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing and repairing hardware components: CPU, hard drives, wireless cards, ROM drives, memory, power supplies and monitors Installed, maintained and supported peripherals such as local printers, All-in-one: (printers, scanners, copiers and faxes), external hard drives, scanners, internal and external modems, and wireless cards Applied expertise toward resolving hardware problems on Lexmark network printers that included replacing printer fusers, rollers and pickup rollers, and replacing the printer Worked with the network team to resolve network problem, by tracking the jack to the switch and switch to the port. Used Server Manager through Citrix to add/remove PCs from domains Used User Manager through Citrix to modify user accounts Installed and configured a VPN client on for home users to connect into the Kaiser network. Imaged PCs using Norton’s Ghost Monitored tape backups on daily and weekly basics Utilized vendor knowledge bases and fostered key relationships with vendors to facilitate escalated problem resolution Wrote documents for users to use while using certain applications Wrote documents for home users to install applications Assisted the help desk by working on rotating basics Configured TCP/IP on the PCs and printers for the Kaiser network Flashed and changed BIOS setting.
