Daily Duties at Super America Inc. A Division Of Ashland Oil :
• Managed over 150 assessment and remediation sites over a nine state area, including bulk plants and service stations. • Calculated environmental reserve amounts. • Defined and prepared project scopes, cost estimate preparation, design coordination, bid packaging, selection of environmental consultants, awarding of contracts, control of expenditures, issuance of progress reports, and auditing. • Worked closely with corporate council and senior management to secure a $300 million line of credit for real estate acquisitions. • Provided environmental support functions to real estate, design and construction for all rebuild/modernization/upgrade projects and to operations and contractors for field actions required during emergency response to environmental incidents. • Served on state and corporate technical action groups: 1) Indiana Department of Environmental Management Task Force to incorporate RBCA regulations and 2) Ashland’s Environmental Commodity Team evaluating procurement synergies.
