Daily Duties at Office Of Personnel Management:

Conducted security background investigations on military and civilian personnel requiring access to classified information. Coordinated and scheduled interviews to meet time restraints. Gathered information through personal interviews of neighbors, employers, friends, coworkers and related official documents. Conducted in-depth subject interviews with high level government officers and civilians including flag officers and star level officers and senior Executive Service civilians. Provided follow-up on related leads gained through interviews. Collected, complied, cross referenced, verified, analyzed data from several official and unofficial sources, wrote and transmitted final case reports. Responsible for government credentials, badge, credit cards and vehicle. Worked from home when an agency office was unavailable. Attended agency wide meetings, classes and conferneces. Served on travel teams to Arizona, California, Kentucky, Alabama, Colorado, New Mexico and Oregon in response to other jurisdiction investigation backlogs.
