Daily Duties at Gulf Coast Gas Pipeline Co.:

• Hired in as a senior training specialist responsible for all non-technical training programs for both corporate and approximately 14 field locations from Louisiana to Tennessee. Later promoted to training manager of non-technical training reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Field Operations. • Responsible for development and administration for non-technical training and education over 200K annually • Responsible for the administration of employee education program. Approval authority for funding and determination of programs meeting program and filing appropriate paper work as needed. • Consulted with over 50 senior and mild-level managers to identify training needs assessments to address company business objectives and performance goals. This was part of the company’s reorganization. I hired a organizational development consultant team to design and deliver a management conference to address both the changes and fears vibrating through the field offices. I attended all sessions and worked with consultants to answer questions and engage the managers in the best ways to implement changes. • Facilitated distance learning sessions as needed utilizing video conference center. • Responsible for the research and selection criteria of approximately ten programs annually by external training vendors to provide training programs and delivery or as requested to meet individual managers requests. • Researched and vendor selection for distance learning and tracking system to provide skills training to field employees and provided management with analysis of a minimum of 5 vendor choices and recommendations. • Delivered at least three human resource initiated employee programs annually at corporate and field locations for all 700 employees with consistent excellent instructor ratings.
