Daily Duties at Aat, Inc.:

•Conduct research, an assessment and analysis on federal financial work flow processes and procedures related to the financial management projects for the Transit Benefit Program and Travel for A123 internal controls standards. • Interact with subject matter experts to facilitate the integration of “best practices” and recommendations to outline the parameters of existing financial systems to deliver a full service transit benefit and Travel program. • I provide financial advice and perform a variety of financial assistance to GAO agency wide in direct support of the mission of the Policy team and Transit Benefit program. • Prepare and execute action plans while meeting budgetary requirements. • Review and convey various project and technical documentation and work in the development of policies, procedures, implementation, and evaluation. • Process application data and prepare reporting relating to the data. • Identify, collect and analyze data to perform quantitative and qualitative transit analyses and report findings for records. • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for the Transit Benefit Program. • Gather information for GAO financial management to review analysis and determine requirements needed to update financial information, web content and policies and procedures. • Convey the policy and procedures of the agency while providing excellent customer service • Validate systems data and reconcile financial information. • Secure and manage confidential data of the agency’s personnel records for financial management • Audit travel and transit expenses for approval, reimbursement, change in costs and re-enrollments. • Liaison between DOT, employees, Financial Management and Safety and Security for financial advice, transportation policy, agreements and issues, problems and customer support. • Work closely with Policy Staff to develop and implement travel and transit benefits agency-wide while providing guidance, training and advice. • Develop, review and manage a comprehensive, cost effective, and progressive program with accurate accounting entries for budgets and expenses. • Interpret policies, programs and systems to provide day-to-day travel and transit services as Primary on the Transit Help desk. • Maintain transit and travel accounts for the agency wide. Maintain confidential information of resumes, applications and test results. Reviewed resumes using several search engines and forwarded to deputy program manager for routing or rejecting resumes. • Perform financial analyses and audits and ensure that entries and data are accurately recorded in financial management systems. Recruit for candidates for contracting agency and verify applicants' qualifications by administering and scoring test before submission to a task order and conducting preliminary reference checks and phone screens. Submit bids for proposals. Conduct research and write reports for RFPs. • Validate sufficient funding availability in the Federal Financial Management System (FFMS) and serve as Lead Administrator for the WMATA metro database to suspend, deactivate, allocate and change money for transit media. Troubleshoot for customer inquiries, media, vouchers, receipts and problems.
