Daily Duties at Oracle :

Dr. Greenwood was the first recruit into Oracle to help create a new Industry Application Division as VP of Technology to provide, invent, software technologies and products to build handle multiple domains. Dr.Greenwood created and staffed the division’s R&D group; 20 hires in 2 months; from Directors to core engineering. And Led Technology Group for two years to create new technologies to integrate partner products with Oracle ERP. Dr. Greenwood was leading the finding, recruiting, and hiring approximately 200 researchers, managers, software and system engineers, across the division, and ramping up five teams across the division to start delivering new ERP products within the first year. Dr. Greenwood was a core VP in the division and was instrumental in choosing the specific industries. The industries we specifically targeted were Consumer Package Goods (CPG), Telecom (TELCO), Aerospace MRO, Oil& Gas Transport, and HealthCare. Dr. Greenwood was appointed VP of Development of the MRO Application targeted to GE Aircraft Engines taking advantage of his broad experience in that industry.
