Daily Duties at Ames Department Stores:
Directed Internal design team of 7 CADD opertaors as well as design and architectural outsource resources in the development of stores designs and layouts for new store, remodel, and special projectts, supporting all field activities for this 750 store chain. Devloped store merchandising layouts, creating consistent department adjacencies, line of sites, traffic flow as well as ergonomic study of worker activities and movement. Responsible for consistent adherence to ADA specification relative to customer support staions in the store. Partnered with Merchandsiing and marketing in the overall design of new initiatives. Responsible for the design, sourcing, maufacturing and scheduled delivery and installation of store equipment and fixturing for all new store and remodel initiatives. Completed on average 50 new stores and 100's of remodel and rollout projects annually.
