Daily Duties at Src, Inc. (Formerly Syracuse Research Corporation):

Initially hired to insure organizational compliance to both National Industrial Security Program(NISP) and the specific US Intelligence community requirements. As part of insuring compliance I collaberated with and mentored off-site location security managers in the performanace of their security and relavant administrative duties. Furthermore, I excercised local oversight and mentoring to the Syracuse security staff of six exempt and non-exempt employees, Additionally, I had direct resposibility for the Shipping & Receiving, Safety, Facilities and Property Control functiond.Such duties required the delopmant or revision of process and procedure documents. Grew position to: Insure compliance with federal and state requirements associated with Chemical & Biological testing; created and update policies and procedures which met current security and business needs; create and monitor organization budgets/P&L to insure fiscal goals established and met; supervise/manage Security, Facilities, Safety, and Shipping & Receiving departments both locally and at 11 domestic locations; create and update security awareness program; attend internal business meetings to support and contribute government contract security, safety and/or facility needs/mofdifications; meet and consult with external state and federal regulatory agencies regarding threats and the assessment of same.
