Daily Duties at Davis Defense Group:

Hosted, supported, coordinated and facilitated Acquisition Coordination Team meetings, Acquisition Review Board meetings, Marine Requirements Oversight Council Review Board meetings, Full Rate Production Decision Review, Operational Test Readiness Review meetings and Combat Development and Integration meetings just to mention a few. Don wrote, reviewed, edited, and staffed the following documents (not all inclusive) Acquisition Strategy/Acquisition, Acquisition Program Baseline, Milestone Decision Authority Acquisition Decision Memorandum, Justification and Authorization for Less than Full and Open Competition, Program Protection Plan, Cost Analysis Requirements Description, Acquisition Program Baselines, PESHE, TEMP, Fielding Plan, and Security Classification Guide. Don provided guidance to the APM on all aspects of program management, leadership, and planning. He teamed with the APM so well that he was capable of developing task responses in his absence with little or no guidance. Don developed time saving checklist for processes and major events, created automated tools to provide immediate visibility of program status, and briefed and taught contractors and government personnel when required.
