Daily Duties at Sea Change Internaional:

Sr. Financial Analyst Managed, tracked, and reported financial operations performance for the Engineering and General Manufacturing business units. Responsible for driving the business units financial planning and analysis through the development of financial models for cost control, resource utilization, and process improvement. Developed the business segment P&L, month and quarter-end analysis vs. actual budget operating spends and proposed appropriate solutions on the drivers of expense to ensure optimal expense control. Assisted Sr. Management through positive business recommendations to achieve planned financial objectives for both long term and short term goals. Manager of Cost Analysis Responsible for directing all departmental functions of Inventory and Manufacturing production financial activities, including the supervision and reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts related to sales and inventory for domestic and international sites. Reconcile and analyze al general ledger accounts pertaining to Inventory, Work In Process, Cost of Goods, Reserves, and other related areas using Standard Cost methodology. Oversee quarterly physical inventory and instituted corporate cycle count program for improved inventory accuracy. Provide guidance of inventory policies and reserve methodologies and developed corporate documentation to support company’s compliance for process control & procedures in accordance with Sarbanes Oxley Section 404. Support Operations by collaborating with a variety of external and internal business partners that include Purchasing, Production, Inventory Management, Sales, and Engineering to manage and communicate budgetary modes and provide monthly/quarterly report for related areas to assist in accurate financial management decisions. Strong analytical and system experience and commitment to high standards, integrity, and ethics.
