• Coordinated the development and implementation of a new educational tool to achieve greater accessibility for culturally and linguistically diverse patients regarding six basic components of the United States healthcare system: 1. ‘What to expect during your visit?” 2. “Pharmacy information” 3. “911/Emergency Care” 4. “Health Insurance/Primary Care” 5. “Dental” 6. “Citizenship information” • Developed survey questions for refugee patients, conducted surveys and analyzed data collected. • Coordinated an advisory group of nurses and refugees to provide input on the development and implementation of the project created.
