Daily Duties at The Institute For Social Advancement (Hdc):

Preparation of quarters reports outlining marketing and fundraising goals and objectives and outcomes plus maintaining client charts to 95% audit compliance. Management of human resources including hiring, position description development and application of board-approved policies and benefits. Providing counsel to President and support of activities associated with Board of Directors. Handle the tasks of developing and implementing marketing plans to foster community support and increase registration in Milwaukee County programs and services. Assist community relation specialist in identifying and gaining opportunities for revenue generation including grants, donations and corporate sponsorship. Responsible for meeting with the recreation and facility supervisor to formulate plan and goals for marketing of the area and facilities. Perform the tasks of setting and achieving annual revenue goals for sponsorships, partnerships as well as other alternative revenue sources. Handle responsibilities of monitoring emerging social, cultural and recreational trends. Attend park district meetings and department head staff meetings as requested. Responsible for building community contacts and developing strong relationships with representatives of community groups. Handle the tasks of planning, organizing and managing media relations programs and events. Perform responsibilities of conducting research, writing and editing copy for newsletters, press releases, informational brochures, and corporate information. Handle the tasks of developing community programs as well as coordinate in the delivery of services. Responsible for developing sponsorship program marketing material by coordinating with the Public Information Coordinator. Handle the tasks of recruiting, training and supervising the work of volunteers and interns as well as develop methods for recognizing their efforts
