Daily Duties at Ofs Fitel, Llc:
Manage the daily operation of purchasing raw materials/finished goods and vendor interaction. Primary focus to analyse and maintain the material levels necessary for continuous manufacturing. Interpret the information and set safety stock levels. Prepare RFQ, RFP and provide leadership and direction in procuring new products for the “Fusion Splicer” line of products. Ensure receipt of goods and the distribution of material. I am responsible for the inventory, with assets totalling over $5,000,000. Weekly discussions with internal and external customers about decisions involving long term supply chain strategy, enterprise-level decisions, standardization of best practices, and material projects. Manage administrative, financial and some legal functions for my product line. Negotiate directly with Vendors/Suppliers in setting profitability margins Conduct regular risk assessment and quality assurance reviews to evaluate vendors and product.
