Daily Duties at University System Of Georgia:
Responsible for overall operation of Accounting department in accordance with the State of Georgia policies & procedures, includes preparing financial reports, closing & balancing fiscal year, assessing accomplishments, and updating policies & procedures; Responsible for personnel issues, including interviewing, hiring, training, coordinating/assigning tasks, conducting annual performance evaluations, and salary increases; Responsible for direction & supervision of Property Control Department Manager, including resolving difficult problems, establishing & interpreting policies & procedures; Assisted the Vice President of Administrative Services with various problems, analyses, interpretations, and data acquisition & reporting.
