Daily Duties at Clayton County Public Schools:

• Supervision of teachers in the implementation of Standard-Based Instruction. Provide training of Common Core Curriculum. Implementation of Georgia Teacher Keys Evaluation System (TKES). Worked with all stakeholders to develop, monitor, and communicate School Improvement Plan and Title I School Improvement Plan. Administrator responsible for AdvancEd/SACS school accreditation. Responsible for transportation of student, emergency preparedness plan, discipline, and Saturday School remediation programs. Oversee benchmark testing, district and statewide testing, and assessments of students. Responsible for collaboration with Stakeholders on school goals and objectives geared toward school mission and vision. Collecting and analyzing data to drive instruction, School Improvement Plan, and Title I plan. Supervise department chairs, support staff, teachers, counselors, librarians, coaches, and other employees; develop academic programs, monitor students’ educational progress, train and motivate teachers and other staff, master scheduling of courses, manage career counseling and counselors, attendance and other student services, administer recordkeeping, and prepare budgets. Handle relations with parents, prospective and current students, employers, and the community. Assist the Director of Career Technical Education in the organization, supervision, discipline and administration of the high school with a focus on the Career Technical Education pathways; Oversee and ensure compliance with appropriate policy, rules and regulations for the management and operation of Career Technical Education programs; Assist and students in applying for higher education and financial aid; and other state and federal programs; Monitor the use of facilities of Career Tech programs and work with the Superintendent of Schools on recommended improvements, additions, and/or new construction and equipment needed for student learning; Process requisitions for supplies and equipment, maintain inventory of textbooks, supplies, and equipment.
