Daily Duties at State Of Indiana:

Oversee Department of Workforce Development in Regions 1, 2, 3 and 4 Northern Indiana) regarding proper interpretation and implementation of federal legislation 20 CFR 617, Trade Adjustment Assistance Act. Enable the Department to succeed at the Appellate level by researching, creating curriculum and presenting seminars on drafting participant case notes and following federal law. Provide final legal review of correspondence, newly created Department forms, content of webinars and memos for adherence with Department policy and federal law. Conduct audits of submitted training plans using Trade Adjustment Assistance Act guidelines. Coordinate and conduct orientations for certified workers regarding their potential eligibility and benefits available under the Trade Act.
