Daily Duties at Fyi:
• Acted as Tier-3 Exchange Network Administrator for the United States Coast Guard and supported over 350 Exchange servers. • Rebuilt 2 major hub servers and 3 major Deep-water cutters while utilizing Eseutil and Isinteg utilities. • Provided Tier-3 technical support for The United States Coast Guard land and sea based units in a Windows NT/2003 server, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 and 2003, Windows XP, and Citrix environments. • Diagnosed and resolved hardware and software problems related to servers, desktops, laptops, Palm Pilots and terminal clients. • Created and deployed USCG servers, workstations, and laptops in accordance with the USCG Standard Operating System. • Remotely troubleshot network related issues (WINS, DHCP & DNS) and monitored and documented USCG’s Internet usage.
