Daily Duties at United Stated Air Force:
As an Acquisition Program Manager, I served as the Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services (CAAS) IV Program Manager providing technical expertise to Government customers and 29 Prime Contractors. Assisted with source selection evaluation of this $4.7B effort and the creation of major contract management documents providing continuity and collaboration across two (2) MAJCOMs. I developed, implemented and controlled contractual, financial and technical aspects of a project/program through designated phases of the acquisition cycle for which no closely related precedents exist. I planned, organized, directed, and coordinated activities of functional specialists including, contracting, engineering, manufacturing, program control, configuration/data management, test, and logistics. I reviewed and directed the progress of Contractors in meeting program objectives. Additionally, I represented my organization within the USAF at executive levels within the Government and to Contractor/industry representatives. Finally, I prepared, presented, defended, and interpreted staff studies to the Program Director and/or other management with regard to the health and status of projects and programs.
