Daily Duties at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management:
Advised clients on all issues pertaining to their financial well being and helped my partner to outperform the S&P 500 by 1 - 4% with 2/3rds the risk. Stay abreast of global economic news with the goal of translating it to clients of different levels of investment sophistication. Find solutions for client financial issues even if that do not pertain to investing -- for example: mortgages, finding an accountant, finding a business broker, researching 529 plans, finding the best rates on insurance. Monitor asset classes so that we anticipate market behavior instaed of react to it. Evaluate managers for clients who prefer to use outside managers in their portfolio. Constantly develop relationships with current clients with the goal of getting referrals. Developed prospecting campaign to reach out to middle market business owners with the goal of helping them through transition of company whether it is an internal transition of ownership or a sale.
