Daily Duties at Nestle Purina:
I managed approximately 30 people and managed an approximately $500,000 budget in the East coast with the goal of developing relationships at American Kennel Club dog shows. Decided what events to sponsor and how much to pay each event for that sponsorhip by how the event would drive the reportable metrics for the area. When an event occured, I organized which direct reports would attend the event with me and collect the "weight circles" from clients and sign-up new clients in our program. I would specifically work in converting users of competitors products to Nestle's. If two events occured at the same time, I would assign my most responsible employee to the event that I could not attend. It also acted as a reward and act of trust to put an underling in charge of a whole show. Actively coordinated my efforts with the other Area Managers in the cuontry by helping their prospects without receiving credit by not driving my personal metircs.
