Hired as the company’s first-ever HR leader and tasked with building HR department capable of supporting a unique talent base; within first 6 months, wrote new employee handbook, updated on-boarding process, ensuring new hires were working at full value within their first 30 days. Administer annual HR budget of nearly $1M; control the purchasing of $11M+ in healthcare offerings for employees annually. Respond quickly to inquiries on talent acquisition, by using electronic tool that I implemented. Manages the payroll function, ensuring exact pay practices for 2,500+ employees. Supervises as many as seven non-exempt personnel, one manager, and three exempt professionals.
