Daily Duties at Ameripath:
Referral Testing responsibilities include but not limited involved the following: Handling the referral test orders from receipt to final reporting and responsible for implementing and complying with SOP policy. Handle requests for additional testing via electronic from Client Service Department, faxed from clients, emails and paper requests from pathologists, outside clients or hospitals sending blocks delivered via FedEx or courier services and orders placed in the LIS by pathologists. Monitor TAT for test orders, follow-up with transcriptionists; communicate daily with Client Services in ref to patients and clients needs. Process test orders in WinSurge and Care360 in timely manner along with accuracy.
