Tasked with overseeing the sorting and shipping procedures; ensure deliveries are on time and not damaged on the way to their final destination; responsible for duties ranging from training employees to leading safety meetings and safe work compliance; making sure freight is properly loaded at docks; multitasked, knowledgeable with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) laws; provide performance reviews/counseling/check rides; resolve customer concerns/issues; input scheduling and payroll; audit timecards.
