Daily Duties at Green Valley Ranch Station Casino:
Green Valley Ranch was a union free property, I spent 50% of my time walking the property, talking to employees establishing a Human Resources' presence. I established an atmosphere of trust and understanding with Team Members and Managers which ensured they knew they could communicate openly with the Human Resources Department. I maintained strong relationships with department heads and line managers in order to communicate Team Member’s feedback, I also recommended new policies and positive approaches to situations. I reviewed and effectively handled Team Member relation issues, coaching, counseling, suspensions and terminations. Communicated daily with departments to gain knowledge of the changing work environment that may have required attention in the area of training. Diligent on staying appraised of changing policies, procedures and business initiatives. I championed FMLA and assisted with the planning/execution of employee events.
What they like about Green Valley Ranch Station Casino:
You highly value a work environment built on a formal structure, rules, and regulations. You do not enjoy the unpredictability of shifting priorities and deadlines that upset your routine. You require and enjoy direction, input and accountability as part of your work environment. You have a strong need to participate in making key decisions and feel left out if your superiors or co-workers do not seek your input when making decisions. You thrive on providing good customer service to both internal or external customers, and doing so makes you feel good.
