Managed and headed a team of eight in the group.  Underwriting of commercial, corporate, consumer and mortgage loans.  Involved in highly Intensive relationship management.  Was accountable for ensuring minimal loss to the Bank through the adherence of bank policy.  Spoke with clients and delegated representatives on the status of loan.  Requested for documentation and review such documents for onward underwriting.  Involved in both manual and system generated loan underwriting.  Worked closely with closing attorneys to ensure hitch free closing.  Take a decision on a loan with adherence to the bank’s risk assessment criteria.  Followed through the Clients Character, Credit, Collateral, and Capacity in arriving at a loan decision.  Reviewed financial statements, appraisals, titles, business documents and every other necessary material that can aid underwriting decision in loan approval.  Ensured all loans met up required deadlines for closing. Carried out the underwriting of commercial, corporate, consumer and mortgage loans.
