Daily Duties at Merck:

Responsible for Anti-Infective line for Acute Care Hospital Division in Eastern Iowa. Products included two Surgical and Critical Care IV antibiotics as well as a Hematology/Oncology specialty product. •Promoted Flagship Merck products to key academic thought leaders. Gain and maintain Formulary acceptance status at all key hospital accounts. Service and deliver any contracts pertinent to hospital business. Deliver contract proposals to Directors of Pharmacy. Developed speakers and presented at various Departmental Rounds in Cardiology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Hematology / Oncology, Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, OB/Gyn, General Surgery and Family Practice
