Daily Duties at Driftwood Hospitality :
General Manager, HILTON RALEIGH-DURHAM AIRPORT AT RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK; Durham, NC; Property consists of 249 sleeping rooms, restaurant/bar & 11,000 square feet of meeting/convention space. Promoted to oversee eight million dollar renovation and to operate and lead future flagship property for Driftwood. General Manager, RADISSON HOTEL SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT BAY FRONT; Brisbane, CA; Property consisted of 210 sleeping rooms, restaurant/bar & 3500 square feet of meeting & convention space. Created innovative business plans to drive 22 month turn-around when Driftwood was appointed receiver for Radisson Hotel in SF. Responsibilities included strategic planning and direction, budgeting, direct sales & marketing, overall product condition, guest product and service, quality assurance, financial controls & performance, profit and loss statements, leadership growth & direction, in-house restaurant & bar, banquets/catering, safety and security, and community involvement. Executive committee consists of nine members: Guest Services Mgr, Executive Housekeeper, Revenue Mgr, AGM/Controller, Human Resources Mgr, Chief Engineer, Food & Beverage Mgr, Catering Mgr and Director of Sales & Marketing.
