Daily Duties at Nasa:

• Senior Law Enforcement Official responsible for Police, Fire and EMS, Emergency Preparedness, criminal investigations, Emergency 911 Communications, Public Safety functions at 14 self-contained City structured sites across the country. As the Chief law enforcement official and Assistant Administrator for the Office of Protective Services, I was responsible for the public safety functions nationwide, such as the development, implementation, and direction of all police, fire and EMS, security and emergency response programs. This includes responsibilities for over 1,000 sworn officers and 100 federal agents. As the senior law enforcement official, I was responsible for interacting with the community and other state and local law enforcement officials. My operational day to day responsibilities included development for budget and human resources management, law enforcement vision and mission, short and long range strategic planning, community interactions, physical security, COOP, emergency operations centers, 911 emergency communications (PSAP), and on-scene functional command of Emergency Operations during emergencies and crisis situations.
