Daily Duties at Tekmastr Associates:
Perform Web searches for Smart Grid technologies Research Alternative Energy companies and technologies for new innovations and/ or discoveries Review energy research papers for application assessment and usage feasability Track companies that supply Smart Grid/ Alternative equipment/software and/or that perform installation of Smart Grid/Demand Management systems Review market reports and assess feasability of those reports and projections Assess where technologies and market acceptance of Smart Grid/ Managed Demand are in relation to the level of "hype" and "rejection" commentaries (hype curve positioning) Follow PUC/regional ISO/ FERC for governmental regulatory changes for utility Smart Grid implementation direction Track Depart. of Energy (DOE)/ National Laboritory ie Sandia national Labs (SNL) website for new technologies, special funding programs, and assessment reports Track regional Utility companies for planning and implementation of Smart Grid/ Alternative Energy programs Consolidate data from resouces into reports/graphs for clients and internal tracking systems/files. Areas of emphasis: Field (FAN), Neighborhood (NAN) and Home (HAN) Area Networks.
