Daily Duties at Fed Ex Corporation:

Ramp Operations Manager- Federal Express: Charlotte, NC January 2001-December 2001 •Manage 28 package handlers, 3 Ramp Agent supervisors and 1 Team Leader at the Charlotte Ramp which were responsible for departing 2 wide-body aircraft nightly-1 to Memphis, TN and the other to Indianapolis, IN. •Went on monthly sales calls to assist the FedEx Sales team and increased overall sales for the Charlotte Ramp/Stations. •Responsible for interviewing, hiring, leadership development and training new employees, which included handlers, checker/sorters, customer service agents and ramp agents. •40 hour hazardous materials certified to inspect the paperwork and shipments. Hub Operations Manager- Federal Express Indianapolis, IN March 1998-December 2000 •Manage 23 entry level package handlers, 1 Team Leader and 2 Ramp Agent supervisors in the outbound area of the Indianapolis Regional Hub. •Responsible for completing Business to Business monthly sales calls and set up appointments to increase new business leads for the FedEx Sales team •Responsible for new hire employment training, performance reviews and development of my employees. •FY 1999 Profit Manager of the Year for consistently meeting and exceeding corporate budget goals. •Two-time recipient of the Vice Presidents Safety Award for managing a workgroup that had 12 consecutive months without an accident or injury. FY 99 and FY 2000 •FY 2000 recipient of the Corporate Star Award for managing performance within the top 10 % of the division. •Two-time recipient of the Survey Feedback Action Award for outstanding employee/manager relations. Received and overall employee rating of 98 % for FY 98 and 99% for FY 99. •Ensure that two wide-body aircraft departed on-time daily- with a 99.2% controllable delay total for FY 1999.
