Daily Duties at Cisco Systems, Inc.:

• Coordinate the budgeting and planning for multiple research projects for energy efficient buildings, from proposal stage to project completion. • Develop scope of work and budget for new proposals, including identification of project resources and formation/expansion of team to ensure proposal success. • Monitor and provide reports on project financials and deliverables, identify problems, and recommend and/or implement corrective action. • Help to keep project momentum going and develop innovative solutions to address project challenges. • Track and manage technical objectives of energy efficiency related projects. • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and outreach materials for internal and external audiences. • Develop effective working relationships throughout the Lab and address barriers to the timely initiation, efficient operation, and successful completion of projects. • Manage relationships with sponsors and other stakeholders; identify and resolve issues. • Identify and help address project staffing needs, reconciling with available funding and staff resources. • Help to shape research objectives, and identify or respond to potential sources of funding.
