Daily Duties at Springel & Fink:

The handling of various insurance defense files mainly in the areas of products, construction, and general liability. The tasks included drafting of pleadings, motions, discovery, and attendance at depositions. I attended and cross-examined over 150 expert witnesses during depositions. I also attended and cross-examined over 100 percipient witnesses including defending key pericipent witnesses who were provding testimony for clients. I attended over 150 Special Master hearing to resolve discovery disputes. I attended Court before variety of judges arguing motions, appeals of discovery issues, and updating them on the status of the cases. I supevised 5-6 younger attorneys including reviewing their work on status reports which update insurance carriers, reviewing motions, and assisting them in the handling of cases. They would also attend some of the depositions when they knew I was cross-examining a witness. With the exception of a few cases, all of them involved over $1 million dollars relating to construction and products issues.
