Daily Duties at Century Link Communications:

Manage hardware warranties and software licenses for all components on the 9001 Network, to include all customer assets (thousands of components), which are either installed in the network, are stored in secure areas or are in the build process. o Secret security clearance o Work with the engineering, Network Support Center (NSC) and procurement teams to identify, establish and document warranty requirements for new purchases. o Created and maintain a warranty database to track warranty expirations for thousands of components ranging in value from thousands to hundreds of thousands in dollars. o Renew licenses/warranties to ensure seamless network operations. o Create comprehensive hardware and software inventory lists for 9001 program for use in determining overall network health. o Interface with the logistical team to determine the RMA eligibility of defective equipment after it fails on the network. o Work with finance to ensure adequate funding is in place for warranties and software licenses. o Audit 9001 components across the network to ensure assessment of warranty eligibility.
