Daily Duties at Assessment Technologies Institute:

● Presented information on products ATI developed to nursing schools in VA and WV. Demonstrated how these products would help assist nursing students to pass the NCLEX the first time which in turn would help decrease nursing institutions attrition rates. ● Provided training to faculty on purchased products including how to navigate the ATI website. Offered ideas and suggestions how to implement ATI’s products in the classroom through curriculum alignment and point system; awarding students points based on their results from ATI’s assessments. Taught faculty how to create various group and individual reports looking at student’s progress in the classroom or weak areas in student’s content knowledge. Assisted in setting benchmark related to each content topic taught in the classroom for standardize assessments. ● Provided training to nursing students on the ATI website and their ATI material reinforcing the benefits they will gain from those products in content knowledge. Strongly encouraged remediation; teaching nursing students how to examine areas of weakness from test results and strengthen them through content review. ● Served as an advocate to nursing administration through listening and researching areas of weakness in their institution then followed up with solutions that would help alleviate their concerns. ● 01/12 ranked 5th out of 26th in Nation from 26th in 01/11.
